Being questioned. Mia Thornton’s post about her previous cancer scare was a hot subject on the season 7 best of The Genuine Homemakers of Potomac as her costars questioned the severity of her health issues.
“My very first response when I saw the post resembled, ‘Oh, my God, what’s going on? I hope she’s okay.’ And after that I had a ‘wait a minute’ minute, like, ‘Why is she stating all this on Instagram, like, why is she informing this to, you understand, numerous countless complete strangers?’” Robyn Dixon specifically informed United States Weekly ahead of the Sunday, October 9, best. “I believed it was odd to share that kind of info so too soon since it certainly triggered a psychological response in me and I’m like, ‘I couldn’t think of, like, why you would share this with on a platform like this?’ I certainly had my ideas.”

Mia made headings in February when she composed through Instagram that a person week prior, she got a call that she required to go to Johns Hopkins Cancer Center ASAP for more screening. “I’ve remained in and out of check outs to professionals every day and the storm is not over, however this experience is altering me. I am dealing with an incredible group of doctors, and I value the profusion of assistance. I have actually not been detected yet so please keep me in prayer,” she composed at the time.
Throughout Sunday’s episode, Gizelle Bryant lost no time at all questioning Mia’s post.

In her own interview with United States, Gizelle included that “not whatever” is suggested for social networks.
“And if there is a scenario where it is something like cancer — that’s not to be had fun with. It’s not a joke or a video game,” she informed United States. “So, if you don’t have cancer, then you certainly shouldn’t be informing the world that, and as Homemakers, individuals that are on this public platform, you need to be accountable for the important things that you put out there. Which’s type of how what I was stating to her like, ‘Look, you can’t simply want nilly with what you’re stating to individuals since you’re a Homemaker and this is a platform, and you need to simply be really wise about the important things that you’re stating openly.’”
