Phoebe Burgess had her own Met Gala moment as she stepped out in Sydney on Monday.

The former rugby league WAG, 33, made quite the fashion statement while running errands in a brown leather trench coat by Camilla and Marc worth $3,000.

Beneath her coat was a blue pin-striped shirt and cropped stovepipe jeans.

The mother of two accessorised with her favorite yellow Bottega Veneta handbag worth $4,650 and a pair of $1,500 Prada loafers.

Perhaps the most unusual element of her outfit was a pair of $250 Oakley ‘speed-dealer sunglasses’ – a style of wrap-around sunglasses worn by ravers in the ’90s and made famous in the music video for Sandstorm by Darude.

Ever the multi-tasking influencer, Phoebe was seen pulling a black suitcase down the footpath while clutching her mobile phone and a red apple.

Phoebe appeared lost in thought as she pursed her lips and gazed into the distance.

It comes after Influencer Marketing Hub revealed how much the ex-wife of retired NRL star Sam Burgess earns as an influencer.

Phoebe is estimated to be earning between $470 and $790 per sponsored Instagram post.

In addition to her influencing duties, the former magazine journalist is also rumoured to be working on a new podcast for Vogue Australia.

She posted a photo on Instagram last month of herself posing in a recording studio, alongside the caption: ‘I’ve always believed in amplifying female voices and now I have a microphone.’

Phoebe tagged Vogue Australia and added the hashtag #WatchThisSpace.
