Amazon Studios has shared a trailer that is new the intimate drama My Policeman starring Harry Styles. The trailer, which includes been released, takes us through an intricate love triangle Styles that is involving and lead actors David Dawson and Emma Corrin.
An Adaptation of Bethan Roberts’ 2012 novel, the whole tale follows Styles’ character Tom Burgess, an undercover cop. Since being homosexual is unlawful in Brighton in 1957, Burgess starts dating an instructor known as Marion (Corrin), but in addition has a love that is secret with a museum curator named Patrick Hazelwood (Dawson).
The movie jumps between two time periods: the 1950s and 1990s. The movie navigates a love triangle in the 50s. But 40 years later, Tom and Marion’s relationship becomes even more complicated when Patrick returns to their lives after suffering a stroke.
Gina McKee, Linus Roache and Rupert Everett round out the cast for scenes set in the ’90s. “My Policeman” is directed by British theater director Michael Grandage. The movie was written by “Philadelphia” screenwriter Ron Nyswaner.
Styles’ appearance in this drama will mark his second movie that is major this present year. Styles can be featuring into the movie “Don’t worry” that is darling Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh, that will be released on September 23.
“My Policeman” will hit theaters on October 21, accompanied by Prime movie launch on November 4. The movie is created by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Robbie Rogers, Cora Palfrey and Philip Herd, and administrator created by Grandage, Michael Riley. McGrath and Caroline Levy go on it on.
