A 19-year-old man desired by Memphis police in multiple shootings that prompted warnings to remain in is captured, authorities stated Wednesday evening.
Police at 9:28 pm announced that the suspect into the shootings was at custody.
More than couple of hours earlier in the day, police issued an urgent warning that is alert an armed and dangerous man who had shot multiple people, and who may have recorded the violence on social media.
Officials Have not released the true number of individuals shot, and whether anybody is dead. The location and number of shooting scenes was also not clear.
“We Don’t know his motivated, we just know that he is responsible for multiple shootings at this right time,” authorities Major Karen Rudolph, a department representative, told NBC affiliate WMC of Memphis on-air.
The Police department and the populous city government told residents of the city of around 630,000 to stay indoors. The Memphis Area Transit Authority announced that bus and trolley solution had been suspended because of the situation.

“We are getting reports that he is recording his actions on Facebook. We do not have a location that is specific of he’s now,” the tweet reported.
Rudolph, law enforcement official, confirmed to WMC in a phone meeting that the suspect recorded a shooting.
“Yes, that’s true,” she stated. “We did get a video clip where he had been recording himself”
Rudolph told WMC that the suspect was in a car described to own dealer tags, however changed automobiles. She failed to elaborate just how that happened.
At 9:11 pm, authorities asked in a tweet that everybody else into the certain area of Ivan and Hodge roads stay indoors. The shelter in place was lifted after the suspect was taken into custody.
