Keanu Reeves Exits Hulu Series Devil In the White City

We will not see Keanu Reeves on the little screen anytime quickly.

The star, who was set to make his tv launching in Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Hulu and Paramount television series The Devil in the White City, will no longer appear the series, Home Entertainment Weekly reported Oct. 7. No factor for his departure was offered, and representatives for Hulu and Reeves did not instantly react to E!’s ask for remark.

Reeves was set to play Daniel H. Burnham, the famous designer who was the imaginative vision behind the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. The Devil in the White City, based upon Erik Larson‘s 2003 nonfiction book of the exact same name, will follow Burnham and Dr. H. H. Holmes, America’s very first modern-day serial killer whose infamous Murder Castle—where he eliminated much of his victims—was integrated in the Fair’s shadow. Prior to his 1896 execution, Holmes admitted to 27 murders, though some claim he eliminated approximately 200 individuals.
