Much Better Call Saul‘s Bob Odenkirk, Andrew Friedman, and Michael Naughton are reuniting for a brand-new movie, The Making From Jesus Diabetes, according to due date. All 3 are co-writing and co-starring in the funny film motivated by characters the latter 2 produced at The Groundlings Theater and the film will be directed by Heath Cullens. It has to do with “2 reclusive, middle-aged bros without any filmmaking experience who are trying to make a film about diabetes, throughout Jesus’ time, to honor their just recently deceased mom.” Ok, so it’s sort of like if the veggietales had human equivalents who were likewise motivated to make Christian material. And if the veggietales had a wicked next-door neighbor that recorded all the insanity that was going on behind the scenes (perhaps a chocolate bunny?) All ridiculous tunes aside, Naughton and Friedman will repeat their functions as the 2 bros Gerry and Seymour Whitaker and Odenkirk will play Leo, a “shifty male with a dark past.” No other casting statements have actually been made, and shooting is anticipated to start early next year. It’s never ever far too late for congratulations!
