Aveda, a high-performance vegan hair care brand that has opposed animal testing since its founding in 1978, announced today that it has been approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny Program.
Aveda has gone through a lengthy rigorous review process with Cruelty Free International to verify that its suppliers and manufacturers meet all Leaping Bunny criteria for their products and ingredients. As a result of this review, Cruelty Free International confirmed that Aveda does not or does not conduct animal testing for all of its products, raw materials and ingredients. Aveda will be audited every 12 months by Cruelty Free International to maintain approval under the Leaping Bunny Program.
