
As part of the initiative 10 Vienna Museums x 17 SDGs by ICOM Austria and OekoBusiness Vienna, the Secession pursues new measures for sustainability. As one amongst 10 Vienna museums, we’re working to implement the United Nations’ Agenda 2030 with its 17 Sustainable Enchancment Targets (SDGs).
Since 2016, the UN’s 17 SDGs have served as a worldwide plan to promote sustainable peace and prosperity and defend our planet, and are alleged to hold out a shared imaginative and prescient to battle poverty and all by the low value of inequalities in nationwide progress plans.
Each of the collaborating Viennese museums has chosen two of the United Nations’ 17 SDGs (Sustainable Enchancment Targets). The Secession has chosen the subsequent targets:
